 Nylon Pallet

This is the Classic Lavenham Jacket that has been the mainstay of country clothing for many years. There is a great demand for this jacket, which is still widely worn for traditional country pursuits as well as fashion-wear. There have been many poor quality imitations - don't accept them!

The Milden is available in 2" diamond quilted nylon, polyester or tweed. The nylon and polyester we use for the Milden is woven and dyed especially for us. The nylon is also Teflon® coated for stain and shower resistance. The tweed comes from a mill in Selkirk, Scotland.

The nylon is a slightly stiffer, more resilient cloth suitable for country pursuits. Our polyester has a softer finish and moulds to the body.

There is an 8 wale corduroy collar and nylon binding on the nylon version and 14 wale corduroy collar and binding on the polyester and tweed versions. The Milden features two patch pockets and also has an inside pocket cleverly hidden behind the lower patch pocket, a back flap, and matching press-stud fastenings. The Milden has bound cuffs and the nylon version is also available with both bound and ribbed cuffs.
